We have begun to collect story chips from people who experienced the World Trade Center attacks and there are other efforts out there that deal specifically with what happened that day. The New York Times published the collected transcripts and interviews from the fire fighters and ems responders in August of 2005 when they were released. The archive archive is still available.

Montel Williams has an audio available in the archives from his program.

The impact in New York was enormous, but the 9/11 impact carried to Pennsylvania and Arlington, Virginia. The libraries in Arlington have a collection of oral histories oral histories from the people who were on sight after the aircraft crashed into the Pentagon.
