It's like we are in a distant land, far away from worldly concerns
Lovely morning with sun shining at lakeside in northern Minnesota. Yesterday afternoon an eagle landed in one of our close by pine trees. The bird was checking the waters here and there to get a fish to be carried up to the young, hungry eaglets. It is interesting to watch any eagle, grasping a fish with both of its talons. It becomes a heavy load until the eagle turns the fish like an arrow, pointed in the direction of flight.
So such visual delights lend themselves well to allowing us to forget what places that we have left. So worldly concerns from that arena have just vanished.
